The Vulcan Statue

In the basement of the Old Courthouse, a statue of a once famous company stands, The Vulcan Statue. For those of you who are into Greek Mythology, Vulcan is the god of fire and metal working and was married to Venus. He is also the symbol for the Vulcan Plow Company. I was walking through the Courthouse one day and all of the sudden there was this 9 feet tall behemoth.

The statue as it proudly stands at the Courthouse. The Plow.

I was going to take the time to actually summarize all the information, but there is a plaque in front of the statue that provides all the information. Here is a picture of that.

It's a large picture, but it has all the information you would ever want on this statue.
