This airforce base was built in 1917 and was used until 1993 when it was closed. However, this massive complex was built in the late 1930's.
This place was massive and probably the largest visited to date. It had many different areas. You will see many openings in the buildings, which are now overgrown, these were used as parking lots. It is that pentagon stuff going on here where you had to check in and go to park within the complex. The pictures are displace mostly in the order taken so if they don't make sense...good The place was so huge it was easy to get lost in....so now you can get lost in the pics!!
